A Letter To My Mother


Dear Mom, I feel like I must've done something really good in my past life to deserve a mother like you. I could not have picked anyone more suitable for the task of raising me, and "task" is putting it lightly. It was more like a never-ending, full-time, unpaid, vacation-dayless job, but you never quit You've always patiently listened to me as I rejoiced, cried, or yelled in anger at all of the things life threw my way. Never once were you judgmental, or overly critical. You empathized with me, and never saw me as a bad person.
