Hiking Pink Lake Trail in Quebec

Pink Lake

September has been providing some gorgeous weather here in Ottawa, and I've been trying my best to take advantage of it. Last weekend, my roommates and I decided on a whim to drive out to Pink Lake in Gatineau, Quebec. I'd never heard of it, but a quick Google search hyped me up and upon arrival, we were not disappointed. Located in Gatineau Park, Pink Lake is about 20 minutes¬†from downtown Ottawa. It was pretty busy (we went early afternoon on a Sunday) but it was fun nonetheless. The hike took about an hour and a half because we stopped to admire the view everytime it presented itself, but at 2kms long, it was really easy, and we saw people of all ages! Be careful when going off-trail- poison ivy is rampant. Some parts…
