I love having a tan. Not only do I find that I look healthier, but it makes my eyes/teeth a shade brighter without having to use Facetune! It’s important to me that I use cruelty-free products, and to also find products that are as organic as possible. So here are my top 3 sunless tanning options for every seasons and situation, that won’t leave you looking like a giant carrot.
Sukin Sunless Bronzing Gel
I use this product in the winter because I get really, really pale, and it delivers an overnight glow on Monday that lasts until Friday. I like using the gel because a little goes a long way, and a whole bottle will last me a few months.
EcoTan Invisible Tan
This is my go-to summer product, and it gives me an all over, “I’ve-been-tanning-for-a-week-naked-on-a-private-island” look. I love using it before weddings, events, festivals etc., because the color looks great in photos. I also find that it helps blur the skin, giving it a really even appearance. Certified organic, this product is now a staple in my beauty routine.
The Body Shop Honey Bronze™ Shimmering Bronzing Dry Oil
I like to use this product for a night out/when I forgot to use either of the previous two products the night before. Perfect for a quick, instant glow, it helps to revitalize the look of dry skin and is also great to pack for vacations after spending a day in the sun.
My Top 3 Tips
1. Use a dry brush
I use my dry brush before showering- It helps to really exfoliate my skin, and the benefits of using a drybrush include stimulating your lymphatic system, increasing circulation, reducing cellulite, relieving stress… The list goes on!
I got mine here.
2. Mix a little bit of the overnight tanner with your face moisturizer
It’s up to you whether or not you want to tan your face, but personally, I do. I like to mix equal parts tanner with my everyday moisturizer and apply to my face and jaw line. I wake up with a slightly lighter shade on my face, but it ends up looking really natural.

3. Use the dry oil as a contour – blend well!
If you put a little bit of the dry oil in the palm of your hand and tap the product along the lines of your contour, you’re going to end up with a really golden, dewy look. Use a damp beauty blender to blend it out!
